THE ROLE
The External Communications Manager will develop and deliver
all-island external communications plans, designed to grow awareness
of, support for and engagement with the organisation?s work.
This role has a particular focus on media, PR and external engagement,
including across consumer PR in support of
trading/marketing/fundraising initiatives and thought-leadership PR to
establish authority and credibility by sharing expert comment,
insights and opinion.

* A minimum of three years demonstrable experience in a similar
senior PR/external communications role;
* Demonstrable experience in developing and delivering successful
media/PR and external communications campaigns across multiple
channels;

demonstratable experience of creative/innovative approaches to achieve
cut-through / reach target audiences;
* Excellent interpersonal skills, including demonstrable experience
successfully managing staff/volunteers, working collaboratively and
building strong relationships internally and externally;
* Strong ability to distil complex information into accessible,
engaging communications.
